Description
It is obvious that the Galileo table top globe bar belongs to Zoffoli’s Universal Globe design collection due to the unique color combination of the globe, which Zoffoli simply calls “blue dust,” as well as the 18th-century map that has been hand drawn by master cartographers.
Though this charming bar globe is designed to be a small mini bar that sits on a desk or table top, the tabletop globe bar set is still impressive for its girth, as well as for its elegance and superb craftsmanship. The lovely rust color of the world globe sphere complements the chestnut-stained base and beech wood knob of the desk globe.
Even though it is considered a small globe designed for a table or desk, the classic style desk globe bar cabinet is equal in diameter to many floor-standing globes and provides ample storage space while saving on floor space. The mini bar cabinet hidden inside can accommodate 9 pieces of stemware at the outer edge and 2-3 bottles in the center. The interior of the bar globe also features an inner dome of beautifully illustrated frescoes.
The base of the antique replica world globe is made of MDF and the knob on top is of beech wood, both hand painted a matching classic chestnut color.
The Galileo is also available in a rust color (see the related products at the bottom of your screen).
This table top bar globe is named after Galileo Galilei – an Italian astronomer, physicist, engineer, philosopher, and mathematician.
