Description
This laguna color floor-standing full meridian globe bar features a true 16th-century replica globe map, as do all Zoffoli globes and bar globes in Zoffoli’s Classic Collection. The top opens to reveal a drinks cabinet that comfortably accommodates 4 bottles and approximately 12 glasses. Further bottles can be stored on the unique rectangular lower base shelf with accurate curved features.
The vintage charm and antiquity of this Italian-made piece of furniture art are amplified by the beautiful meridian that encompasses the entire world globe. The antique-style large globe sphere fully rotates around its axis both when it is opened or closed.

Dedalo, or Daedalus in English, was a craftsman and artist in Greek mythology, who had two sons, Icarus and Iapyx. He is best known as the creator of the Labyrinth, a huge maze located under the court of King Minos of Crete, where the Minotaur, a half-man half-bull creature dwelt. According to the myth, the king of Athens was forced to pay tribute to King Minos by sending seven young men and seven young women each year to Crete, in order to be sacrificed to the Minotaur. One year, however, the legendary hero Theseus was sent into the labyrinth and managed to kill the Minotaur, assisted by Minos’ daughter, Ariadne.
